NWT Squash held the 2027 Canada Winter Games tryouts at the Yellowknife Racquet Club over two days - October 1 and 2. Thirteen athletes participated in the tryouts to determine the team makeup of two U19 and two U17 boys, and two U19 and two U17 girls

The tryouts consisted of head-to-head matches between players in each of the age categories and also included clinics about nutrition, warm up and mobility (both presented by Team Manager, Catherine Ardiles) and a Fitness Periodization clinic by personal trainer, Devin Madsen.

The Canada Winter Games take place from February 27 to March 14, 2027 in Québec City, Québec. Squash is played in the second week of the games from March 9 to 14, 2027. Be sure to follow along as our athletes represent NWT Squash!
